Gary Cavett first caught the rally bug in high school when he learned that there was an extreme form of motor sport where a driver/co driver and a production based car raced on REAL roads. The group B era had just come to an end and those one off production specials with high hp and all wheel drive grabbed his attention. As the years went by interest grew in all different forms of motor sports, but the idea of racing on real roads in a real car was too good to pass up. In the early 90's as the Internet came to be, information on this sport could finally be sourced. From there, plans were made to one day go rallying.

• 1998 Purchased first Rally Car, an ex works Subaru RX turbo open class car. Became involved in the Oregon Rally Group. Started racing SCCA Rally Cross, and SCCA Club Rallies.
• 1999 SCCA Northwest Region Rally Cross Open class -2^nd place
• 2000 SCCA Oregon Region Rally Cross Open class Champion
• 2000 SCCA Northwest Region Club Rally Class 3 Drivers Champion
• 2001 Built 2^nd Rally Car- a PGT class Subaru Impreza
• 2001 3^rd place in PGT Class at Wild West Pro Rally
• 2001 SCCA Northwest Region Rally Cross PGT Class - 2^nd Overall
• 2001 SCCA Northwest Region Club Rally PGT Class 2^nd Overall
• 2001 SCCA Northwest Region Club Rally Class 2 Driver - 4^th Place
• 2002 Switched from PGT to Open class putting a 2.0 turbo engine in the Subaru Impreza.
• First event with new car April 2002 at Oregon Trail rally 9^th overall and 4^th placed Subaru. Set 2^nd fastest stage time on 3^rd stage of club rally entries.
• 2002 Second event: Dryad Quest rally 3^rd overall, 1^st place Subaru, and 1^st in region class.
