Ross
Foster is running his second season in rally,
still behind the wheel of a Mazda 323GTX.
Foster hopes to improve on his run of third
place finishes in several Canadian regional
events (Bighorn, Mountain Trials and Kananaskis)
last year. Also, he has something to prove
at the Pacific Forest Rally, which he led
last year until multiple tire failures ended
his rally. Foster finished last season
fourth overall in the Western Canadian Rally
Championship, second in Production Over
class and second in Novice class. He also
competed in SCCA "ClubRally" regional rallies
and the Ramada Express International Rally.
Alan Perry is running his second full
season in rally, once again partnered with
Ross Foster. In addition to competing in
all of the events that Foster did and sharing
the same results in the Western Canadian
Rally Championship, Perry has also competed
in a small number of SCCA "ProRally" national
events, co-driving for Roland McIvor.
Foster and Perry and the formerly white
GTX have started the season with some fast
stage times and good results. They should
put on a good show at the Pacific Forest
Rally.
