| 2004
has been an excellent season of competition
for Kamunen Racing. The “bunny”
has brought home a class win at every event
entered this season, which includes 3 different
motorsports disciplines – stage rallies,
Autocross events, and SoloII events! But
rally is our passion, and after a 'Group
D' win at the Mountain Trials Rally in June,
we're heading back to B.C. in an attempt
to maintain our winning streak and secure
the Group D title in the Western Canadian
Rally Championship (WCRC).
Driver Eric Grochowski is the current President
of the Calgary Sports Car Club, and is no
stranger to speed, having competed in many
types of pavement and loose surface racing.
Co-Driver Leanne Junnila is the former Vice-President
of the Calgary Sports Car Club, and after
establishing herself as a skilled driver
on pavement, has spent the past 3 years
as a dedicated and successful co-driver
in the Western Canadian rally scene.
The team is also complimented this season
by crew chief Kris Schofield, service coordinator
Jaclyn Schofield, fabrication wizard Arlyn
Gohl, and Chris Galecki of CGGC Painting
- designer and paint extraordinaire who
conceptualized our new paint scheme. Millions
