William Bacon has competed for several years
in an Acura Integra, before switching to
the Suzuki Canada Team for 2004. Bill also
campaigns a Subaru WRX STI in selected US
events where he consistently runs in the
top 5, also co-driven by Watt. Bacon has
been identified as a driver with a bright
future in rally circles. Expect to hear
a lot more of his name in the future.
Peter Watt, co-driver, has an extensive
history with Suzuki. As driver of a 1993
Swift GT, he won several Regional Titles
and was North American Production Champion
Driver two years in succession. Since switching
to the co-driver’s role, Watt has
achieved two class championships as well
as several top event finishes.
After starting the season strongly with
class wins in the Rocky Mtn and Baie des
Chaleus Rallies, the team suffered a setback
on the Defi Ste Agathe / Duhamel whein a
rock shattered their fuel pump, leading
to a rare dnf.
The team is looking forward to their first
Pacific Forest Rally and is determined to
regain the ground lost with their non finish
in Quebec.
