| Fling Pu has been
a viable racing team for the past three
years, fielding a 1979 Mazda RX7 by the
Wellemeyer boys and a 1974 Mazda RX3 by
Shadd Foster. This is the first year for
the newest addition, a 1979 Datsun 210,
the Fling Pu TRAINER! Being Pat’s
first year as a driver, the fellas created
a safe, not-too-fast car for her, the eldest
member (mama-san) of the team. You’ll
notice a STUDENT DRIVER sign on the back
so if you come up to pass, be afraid!
The co-driver is a veteran from the 90’s
- Eric Schild co-drove for Jack Horn in
the Northwest WA region where they campaigned
to several regional wins. This will be the
first Fling Pu race for Eric, and the first
time Eric and Pat have driven together.
