| Martin Chung and Christa Monasch have been rallying as a team since 2003, when they started competing in Time-Speed-Distance events in BC. They have finished consistently well over the past 4 seasons including winning the BC TSD championship in 2006 (Possibly the first Calculator team to ever win the BC Championship).
Both of them are excited to return to the event that kicked off their stage rally career back in 2004. This season they have switched their focus from TSD to Stage events, and are constantly striving to compete with the faster teams. So far this tactic has paid off, as they have won several stages this season, and are showing stage times consistently in the top 10, often top 5. After a DNF at Mountain Trials the team is eager to get back on the road and have a great finish in pursuit of the ever elusive "Podium Finish".
The car is substantially modified from the one that debuted three years ago, sporting a new turbo engine, suspension, and transmission. |
