| After a successful national PGT debut at the Rocky Mountain Rally in May, Bullit Racing is preparing to fight hard for a podium finish at the Pacific forest Rally. The team returns to the pairing of Colin Armstrong and co-driver Keith Morison that proved fast and reliable in the early stages of Rocky, finishing only 42 seconds out of third place.
Both competitors are no stranger to Merritt and consider PFR to be a home event away from home.
"We're looking forward to racing the Merritt Stages again," said Armstrong, "being our second event together in this car and running on our own pace notes will bring us a lot more speed as a team."
This won't be the first time Armstrong and Morison have attacked the Merritt stages together. In 2004, Armstrong co-drove for Morison in a 1999 Subaru 2.5RS. "The role reversal is interesting," Morison said, "the working relationship in the car is like it was five years ago, but the pace is so much faster now. I'm expecting a great weekend and that usually leads to good results."
